Living History Farms Race Is Nation's Largest

DES MOINES, Iowa -- More than 7,500 people climbed and clawed their way through the great outdoors during the 30th annual Living History Farms Race on Saturday morning.

The group of elite and amateur runners trekked through cornfields and creeks in North America's largest cross-country race.The competitors left the starting line cold, but clean. All of them knew that they were going to get dirty.
